Board of Assessment Appeals

Alyssa Anderson (I)

A resident of Woodbridge for the past six years, Alyssa is a dedicated mother of two young children attending Beecher Road School. With 18 years of experience as a middle and high school science educator, she is passionate about promoting environmental education and sustainability. She has been an active member of the community, serving on the Beecher Road School Green Team for four years, the Town Ad Hoc Sustainability Committee for two years, and as a Girl Scout Daisy Troop leader for the past year. Her commitment to environmental issues is matched by her enthusiasm for engaging young minds in science and stewardship.

Alyssa is well aware that new home assessments as a result of the recent revaluation have imposed financial shock on many residents. As a registered independent, she values thoughtful dialogue and diverse perspectives and highly values fairness for all. If elected, she will bring a unique blend of experience and insight to the Board of Assessment Appeals.
