Mica Cardozo pays lip service to public input, but repeatedly thwarts it behind the scenes. He has injected himself into the former Country Club of Woodbridge's Master Plan and the Plan of Conservation and Development processes, skewing survey questions and ignoring the results of public workshops. Town Plan and Zoning changed its regulations to allow the construction of four-story apartment buildings without ANY public input due to inadequate public notice: Cardozo attended the meeting but voiced no objection. A subsequent hearing publicized by private groups resulted in over 150 residents turning out to voice their overwhelming opposition to the 804 Fountain Street apartment building project.
