Open Doors

Mica Cardozo pays lip service to public input, but repeatedly thwarts it behind the scenes. He has injected himself into the former Country Club of Woodbridge's Master Plan and the Plan of Conservation and Development processes, skewing survey questions and ignoring the results of public workshops. Town Plan and Zoning changed its regulations to allow the construction of four-story apartment buildings without ANY public input due to inadequate public notice: Cardozo attended the meeting but voiced no objection. A subsequent hearing publicized by private groups resulted in over 150 residents turning out to voice their overwhelming opposition to the 804 Fountain Street apartment building project. Rob Rosasco and his team find this unacceptable and are committed to effectively informing, engaging, and representing you.
Our town government should be inclusive, responsive, and transparent. It belongs to all Woodbridge citizens, not just those in one political party. To represent the entire town, we have a diverse slate that includes Republicans, Democrats, Unaffiliateds, and an Independent -- a group of accomplished professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including business people, educators, lawyers, environmentalists, public servants, real estate professionals, and others.
